Follow Me Video

Music Vieo Project Completed

I produced -- that means mostly work out the financing! -- a second music video project this past summer. Like the "Today" music video

Eric Lovett performs "Follow Me" in new music video.

produced last fall for the inaugural Lead Like Jesus Celebration, Eric Lovett is the featured vocalist and Andy and Jon Erwin did their cinematographic magic. The song, "Follow Me", was co-written by Eric and a friend, Adam Lancaster, this past January.

The song, inspired by Matthew 4, laments our inability to follow Jesus very consistently, but celebrates His unfailing love for us despite our failures. The song is certainly Eric's testimony, but it is every honest believer's as well. "Follow Me" was arranged and recorded by Marc Phillips at Airwave Recording Studios in Birmingham.

A modern-day interpretation of the parable of the prodigal son, or the waiting father, as some have properly called the story, will provide the story line for the music video. The video was shot in and around Birmingham and features a high-energy "rave" nightclub scene. Orange Beach, Alabama, also provided a setting.

The music video was completed in mid-September 2004.
